Artistic programme art print of West Ham  goalkeeper Phil Parkes. When Parkesy joined the Hammers in 1979 it was for a world record transfer fee of £565,000 for a goalkeeper. Over his 11 year career at West Ham he went on to make 444 appearances winning the FA Cup in 1980. A lesser known fact is that Phil appeared as himself in Thunderbolt and Smokey in the boy’s comic magazine 'Eagle' giving coaching lessons.
